There a darkness
Pushed deep inside of me
Down to my feet
Bounding me to this earth
Like shackles.
My feet want to
Take flight
Away from here
But I can only
Lift so far off the ground
Before being knocked down.
My heart is beating heavy
out of my chest
And my ribs
are closing in on me.
A cage supposed to protect my heart;
Now caving in
Spearing my heart.
Blood tainting pearly white bone.
Rigor mortis; turning me to stone.
Escaping was futile.
I will never learn
I will never leave
This hell;
Enslaving me
And
Attempting to entrance me
Under its spells. ~VP~
