Chickens are such dedicated mums... 21 days sitting in the same spot... only coming out a few times during that sitting, when absolutely necessary. Keeping their babies warm and protected.
Little excitement here this morning... surprises outside... (tho seems Bella was right... first one must have arrived yesterday...)
Elsa’s babies have started hatching.
Milly excited as Cutie-poos egg pecking its way out slowly, so it should be out in the next few hours.
Another egg left...
And the other chickens sneakily snuck in another couple of extra... so they have gone under Daisy... as Elsa will be taking her babies out soon and leaving the nest cold. And can pop them in the incubator after Daisy hatches her baby’s.
