In the past nine months, I’ve been told:
• I bite off more than I can chew.
• I’m spread too thin.
• I stay busy so I don’t have to deal with my issues.
Some of that 100% true. Some of that I chalk up to that person’s inability to see the person I really am. The intense drive that runs through my blood. The perfectionist I am trying to shake off for good. And if there’s anything I’ve learned in the past seven years is that not everyone is going to understand you. But those that do can read you like a book and will call you on your shit just in time.
