Been practicing an old tune I wrote in CGCGGC, as a means of getting used to the thumb pick and some Travis picking with it.. Watched a video of @joe_robinson on YouTube where he explains that to practice your picking and your barre chords especially, to loosen your strings and gradually tighten them as you go.. to get all the notes sounding nicely! Less tension, easier to hold the chords right? He meant to play in D or Eb, not E, but I will get round to that! 😂 Just thought what better way to loosen your strings than to play in CGCGGC?
