Relax and scan the body for any areas where the body might be holding onto stress.
- Sit or lie comfortably, close your eyes.
- Take a few deep breaths, as you do feel the breath move through you body.
- Become aware of any feelings or sensations.
- Start at your feet, send the breath down through your body, working your way up your body.
- Notice how your body responds to any emotions, notice how the energy feels in each area. If you feel tightness, envision the area softening.
- Finish by scanning head and face, loosening your jaw, soften any tension in your face. .
