Today’s exercise of the week at the studio, is the Horizontal ring row. 
These are often overlooked, by beginners as they look intimidating, and are forgotten by the experienced or for those that have used horizontal rows as a progression exercise for strict pull ups or muscle ups.

Ring rows are a fantastic way to stimulate the muscles in the upper back. I love them as they are so adaptable for all levels. Plus there is something special about using the classic Olympic Rings because of there heritage.

Level up, change the body angle to change the level. start at 45 deg angle for newbies, for pro go 100% horizontal or even negative with the angle. 
Play with the angle, tempo, reps, holds and sets to optimize the exercise for you.

Use it in your training or for your groups, as it is easy to adapt for so many levels, to that get closed chain pulling for all!
