In ode to my favourite ice cream flavour of all-time, Iโ€™m beginning this fab new week with my glorious Raspberry Ripple smoothie. This blend of nutrilicious goodness contains some seriously special ingredients to get you ready for the day

Top tip: always add an element of protein to your smoothie to counteract the GI of the fruit - add nuts or vegan protein powder. Both are great but I really love the thicker consistency that blended nuts create (especially almonds) and mixed with ice, itโ€™s so refreshing and wholesome!

Ingredients: 
1 x cup of frozen raspberries (and some for decoration)
1 x frozen banana
1 x small handful of nuts
Half a cup of coconut milk (keep some for rippling-through once blended)
1 x small handful of gojis
1 x tsp of beetroot powder
200ml of coconut water
Blend & serve .
