From anger to friendships
One of the people who met us at the river of understanding and acceptance was most unexpected. She’s one of them, as in the opposite of us. Or at least I assumed she was.
As parents of dyslexics, we are angry, and we want someone to blame for the struggle our children face. While anger is a normal response to situations we don’t understand and can’t control, it’s also what keeps us from forming the bonds with those who can help.
