“In August of 2013 I went to my Cardiologist & found out I had hypertension (high blood pressure or dah pressure lol) untreated for well over five years all stemming from me being obese. My weight which triggered my blood pressure to be high had caused my heart to enlarge, kidney function to decrease, Osteoarthritis to flare, and blood pressure to be out of control. I was on six different meds to regulate my blood pressure. Although the meds somewhat but not all together regulated my blood pressure, they started doing more damage in my body than helping(affecting other major bodily organs). So it was A) change my lifestyle and live or B) continue on the same path and die young. I choose option A 😊

So I went home and cleaned out my cupboards and replaced all my bad options with health options. 18 months later no magic pills, surgery, not starving myself,(I dont knock anyone that does) & little exercise at a time I lost 120lbs+ and have been able to successfully keep it off

Heart is back to normal size, kidney function is now normal, havent had an osteoarthritis flare sense I lost the weight AND hypertension is a thing of the past.
