15 titles we qualified for... And we got one! I could not be prouder of my girl this weekend!

It’s no secret we’ve struggled to find our place... and had a long talk about getting back to why we do this.
THIS IS WHY WE PLAY, we LOVE our friends, our girls weekends, the thrill of the victory and yes even the agony of the defeat (because it makes the wins so much more exhilarating)
Walking in this weekend, to the Super Bowl of pageants we knew we were playing against the odds, but I challenged my girl to re-find her competitive spirt, to do it purely for the love of the game. Her only task this weekend was to “show up” mentally. We tried a whole new approach. Don’t give up before we start. Don’t take it personally. We’re paying for opinions. Just because we might not like them, or maybe even disagree... doesn’t make them wrong. Some of us become losers the moment we HAVE to win. Is there more?? YES!
We have so many amazing people to thank, for so many reasons. Some of you talk us off the ledge, some of you push when we pull, some of you pick up the pieces when there’s a billion on the floor. My girls village is small but unwavering. You never doubt us even when we doubt ourselves. You share in our victories and our defeats.
We went in knowing we could leave empty handed and we decided we were ok with that.
