3/3: Last year I managed the installation of a 256T linkspan with 2 floating crane vessels, in winter, at night, in the River Mersey! Anyone who has worked on the river will know the challenges it brings. And the STEMeotypes Iā€™m smashing? They would link directly with my superpower šŸ˜‰ I hope I am smashing the stereotypical view of what a civil engineer is, looks like, or sounds like. A lot of experienced people on sites have not worked with a female site agent before and I hope that that is a sentence people can soon say less & less. And finally, I really hope I am smashing up into tiny pieces the views of people who think that being in charge on a construction site is not a place for a female, because they are views which do not fit in to the modern world.
