Thought is energy.  Intentions can help you with your goals.
✨When the coach @kathafit I work with asked how I’ve been able to change my mindset, I had trouble answering. 
✨There weren’t 5 steps to change or some complex exercises I did. I just set the intention, allowed myself to be open to change, and let the rest happen. Once the intention was there, the thoughts were there, and the behavior followed. Of course, intention needs to be matched with action or it is just another thought in your head.
✨In the above example, I decided to change my perfectionistic thinking. Once I decided, I noticed t more and actively worked to reframe it. The more I did this, the more things in my life felt easier and less forced. Work in progress.
✨What we think is what we do. What we think creates energy around us and allows certain things in or closes them off. If I think good things will happen, my mind will look for good things happening, and they will. And vice versa. You literally create new neural pathways in your brain.
✨For the record, thought and intention alone does not change things like racism, mental health problems, poverty, unemployment, etc. it might change how you respond to those things or if you’re able, how you affect change in big systems. 
✨The new year can be a good goal setting time and it is okay if you don’t too. If you do, I encourage you to pick an intention to focus on. It will guide the rest. One intention of mine is to be open and be less attached to outcomes. What is your intention for the new year or right now?
