So, imagine, your waters have broken and you’ve headed to hospital - dealing with surges very well, staying calm
Someone tells you “oh you don’t feel that” that every labouring person should be in pain 🙄
After this you are offered an induction, you decline, because why would you... just because your surges aren’t too strong yet (or you are just an absolute badass and are absolutely fine with the pain)
Later on, when asked for another VE you get asked “shall I just do a sweep while I’m here?”
Number 1 that is a form of induction...
Number 2, as Amy put it, no the nice thing to do would be fake your hand out of my vagina and we discuss it properly 🙈
