A lot of y’all ask me why I wrap my hair and the answer is: MIND YOUR BUSINESS. Understand that first. Since I’m here to educate tho, imma give y’all the tea on some of the immense advantages that come with wrapping your hair.

1. Receiving Downloads: When God tells me to wrap my hair I do it. Sometimes being too focused on your physical appearance desensitizes your awareness to the presence of God and the ancestors. Wrapping your hair is like a mental reset to tune tf back in. I receive some of the most incredible thoughts, ideas and advice when my hair is wrapped.

2. Practicing Self Care / Self Love: Wrapping your hair is a beautiful exchange of self love. I usually give myself a nice deep condition or nourishing hair treatment before wrapping my hair and it always thanks me later. Wrapping my hair also reminds me to focus on other parts of my body like my skin (which you can see is thriving) and my internal organs. Your skin is a mirror for how healthy your organs are so I provided a face chart so y’all can understand why you have acne in the areas you do. I recommend detoxing, colon cleansing and drinking lots of water to flush out toxins trapped in your organs.

3. Increased Focus when Fasting: Lately, I’ve been wrapping my hair when fasting and I’ve noticed that instead of being my easily distracted self, I’m more diligent on carrying out the intent of my fast.

4. Building Confidence / Self Esteem: Wrapping your hair reclaims your power of beauty. When you eliminate the opinions of society and men who think they are entitled to how you wear your hair you remind yourself of where beauty actually flourishes and that’s from within.

THE NEXT TIME you see a Black woman with a head wrap on think before asking something ignorant. Remember she’s training for war. She simply just wants to take a break from society’s unrealistic beauty standards or wants to embody the culture that was snatched away from her. Let her be great either way! I hope this helps my carbon charged Gods and Goddesses, blessings and don’t forget to set your intentions and spend time under the blue full moon tomorrow 🧚ðŸ¾
