Fitness does not always mean health. In my clinical practice I often work with fit, strong, active people who find themselves in chronic pain. Part of the process is like detective work to find out what movement  patterns they are unconsciously repeating that are causing them to poorly execute their workout. We focus on quality of movement rather than quantity. Clients are often surprised by how challenging it is to move slower, keeping good form.
