Ingredients (for 3 servings)ā
MARINADEā
3 tablespoons vegetable oilā
ā
cup honey (115 g)ā
ā
cup soy sauce (80 mL)ā
3 cloves garlic, mincedā
1 teaspoon pepperā
SKEWERSā
3 chicken breasts, cubedā
1 red onionā
2 red bell peppersā
2 orange bell peppersā
2 yellow bell peppersā
fresh parsley, to tasteā
SPECIAL EQUIPMENTā
wooden skewer, soaked in waterā
ā
Preparationā
Soak the skewers in water for 5-10 minutes and set aside.ā
In a bowl with the chicken, add the ingredients for the marinade.ā
Mix until coated. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 30 minutes to 2 hours.ā
If baking, preheat the oven to 400Ā°F (200Ā°C).ā
Prepare the vegetables by cutting them into 1-inch (2 Ā½ cm) squares.ā
Assemble the skewers starting with the red onion, followed by the bell peppers and chicken. Repeat three times.ā
Place the prepared skewers on a baking sheet and brush with remaining marinade.ā
Bake or grill for 20-30 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink.ā
Sprinkle with parsley.ā
