$While I think we all wish every day of our weeks could look a little something like this, we all know that’s pretty unrealistic. Let’s keep it real here for a second and acknowledge the things we spend most of our week doing, because views like this are probably more like maybe one day out of most of our weeks. For me, my week was filled with sitting in lots of traffic, solving complicated firewall issues to fix a urology/radiology reading system, lots of meetings, hanging out in a biomed shop in the basement of a hospital with a bunch of veterans, neighborhood walks with the dogs, sending my husband off on another week long fire assignment, and planning a packing and grocery list for our big road trip coming up. So let’s just face it, life is not always glamorous, in fact it really isn’t most of the time, and so it’s important to reflect on and share the things we really spend most of our days doing besides what we spend maybe a small fraction of our weeks on. Sure, we may not have pictures to show for everyday life, but that doesn’t mean it can’t be captured in words.
