Kettlebells are my favorite tool for over head pressing. Just somethin’ about it that feels so smooth. With the push press, you’re gonna get some power with the legs to help you out so you should go HEAVY. However, for many with mobility issues (the majority of people), having both arms over head at the same time can be tricky. If that’s the case just do 1 arm Push Presses. A strict press (not using the power from the hips) is more about isolated upper body strength and better for muscular development. The pivot press just adds a little “function” to it all and is surprisingly metabolic! Go a little lighter.
