I just want to remind everyone that this isn’t over. That’s why we keep marching.

I just want to clarify that black people aren’t blowing our recurring mistreatment out of proportion, just because the media is toxic.
.
I just want to stop hearing that blacks are in denial that progress has been made. Oh, and that there are other people who are also having a hard time.
.
I just want Christians to study for themselves and take advantage of solid scriptural resources on advocacy, justice and the severity of shedding innocent blood.
.
I just want both sides to stop skewing the solution for racial injustice to look like it’s tied to a political party or some political propagation.
.
I just want being a “brothers keeper” to look like the action it was intended to be, and not simply considered an endearing ideology.
.
I just want it to be understand that privilege also looks like denial, passivity and gaslighting.
.
I just wish individuals weren’t hiding behind the “church” and that the “church” wasn’t deflecting the call to the front lines.
.
I may not get all those things this side of heaven, but that’s what I want.
