Gel creams are the BESTEST for all skin types, but especially for oily or combination. Why? Because you can slather it on without feeling like it’s suffocating your pores and that my friends is a dream come true ✨
I have tried a few gel moisturizers and the one at the top of my favorites list is the “Honest Beauty Hydrogel Cream”. THis cream actually surprises me as it seems like it’s a thick and creamy textured moisturizer and then upon application is becomes a wonderful watery gel. This product may be water based, but it delivers the ultimate hydration as it is infused with hyaluronic acid, which provides the ultimate moisture surge.
I typically use this product at night after cleansing and toning. The next morning, my skin feels dewy (in a non greasy way), firmer, softer and feels bouncy? If that makes sense! I absolutely love it. I really enjoy using this in the winter time when my skin is a bit more dry.
This entire line of products is clean so it is free of parabens, synthetic fragrances, mineral oils and all that bad stuff we don’t even know is in most of the products we use. It is also founded by Jessica Alba and I LOVE her so I’ll try anything by her!
If you are interested in giving this a whirl, it is available at Shoppers Drug Mart for $20 and the jar is a nice size. I definitely recommend!
