my life has been filled with
so much privilege
being mixed
but white passing
has allowed me to
enter rooms that my
mother was not welcomed
but because i speak english
she ‘did a good job and we can stay’
they always seemed dumber
after witnessing this logic
certain communities and cultures
embrace you
and some only embrace you
once theyve decided you can
benefit or
not cause harm to their status
i have been gifted a body that
is small and beautiful
but in return
is seen as fearful
for the dangers of society
to be a tiny rabbit
with the ego of a dragon
only some have seen my
fiery breath
but they let me get close
bc im cute
my looks are a deception
a diversion
my amicable persona
that means i am naive
to so many
ive had conversations with
lots of friends that have encountered that their niceness
means a lack of intelligence
im here to tell you intelligence is not
just how well you speak
the institutions you go to
the communities you are a part of
intelligence is how you relate with
someone
and the ability to transgress, progress, and digress
while initiating self improvement
which should mean societal improvement
yall have no idea
i would never underestimate my
opponent bc it is done to me so often
i will always try to stick up
for what i believe in
but trust me at every moment
i am calculating the risks
i’m not stupid
but i also know i
dont know anything
the ones who say they do...
want something
for themselves
from you
for their own benefit
derive your own powers
find the places
we’re existing on a treadmill
the systems that are in place dont make sense
and collectively we are angry
and for those who arent,
do more work in yourself
to find out where the confusion lies
we are blind before we see
i know this is haphazard and
sporadic and nonlinear and doesnt
make sense but you can go fy ☺️
