However, the sun is super essential for providing us with a very important vitamin.... Vitamin D!  In 2018 studies show that 42% of Americans are deficient in vitamin D.  Vitamin D helps stimulate healthy cellular growth, repair, and calms inflammation in eczema and acne-prone skin. 

How do we get vitamin D without the negative side effects? 
Spend 15 minutes in the sun, please make sure to cover your face. 
Take a vitamin D supplement.  I recommend taking a plant-based one from Sports Research that has Vitamin K2+D3
Eat foods plant-based foods that have Vitamin D  Mitaki Mushrooms, Portabella Mushrooms
