My parents threw me a birthday party in the backyard with my very own pony to ride! Still cherish it as one of my best. Such a baby, I was like 16 years old or so.
I feel strongly that teaching kids to respect and enjoy animals and nature is imperative to their development. Anyone else have a fond memory of an animal encounter that blew them away as a kiddo?!
