Sofia is five months old and has been diagnosed with spinal muscular atrophy, a terminal illness. A new drug developed by Novartis can save her life with just one dose if administered soon. Sofia’s parents have worked tirelessly to raise the necessary money, but are far short of the $2MM+ cost.
