As it was my ‘Vardhanti’ yesterday (Birthday according to the Hindu calendar), ceremonies were conducted at home and several other places to mark the occasion. To all those who so kindly took out the time to wish me all good things in life - a heartfelt thanks!! ❣️
Even though the temple at Trivandrum has been closed to the public since March due to the Corona crisis, special prayers were offered yesterday for my wellbeing by the Travancore Royal Family. They made sure that the blessings of Lord Anant Padmanabha Swamy are there for me in abundance.
I have been sent photos of the Nirmalya Prasad that was received after the poojas. They also very kindly included photos of the temple tower so that I could have a virtual darshan of this legendary shrine. The busy temple which is also acclaimed to be the richest in the world looks so peaceful in the absence of any crowds. A picture of absolute serenity...
