Its about offering your life as a sacrifice to God out of love for what Christ did for you on the cross. - When you serve God because you love him, and not because you feel like you have to, that’s the relationship he’s looking for. When people say you don’t have to turn from your sins they are basically saying “You have your salvation. Who cares about how God feels?”. - Did you know our sins not only anger God but they also pain his heart? How could a believer tell anyone it’s okay to sin or that they don’t need to turn away from their sins? Why would would they do that? Because they are blind, selfish and their Father is the devil. - The Bible says we will know them by their fruits. - The fruits are: PEACE•LOVE•JOY•PATIENCE•KINDNESS•GOODNESS•FAITHFULNESS•GENTLENESS•SELF-CONTROL - Staying in your sins won’t bring PEACE. Telling someone they can continue sinning is the farthest thing from LOVE. Sinning will never bring your JOY. When we sin the only PATIENCE being shown is from God, not us. We pain God’s heart when we sin, how does that show KINDNESS? Sin is bad, which is the opposite oF GOODNESS. Sin is Satan’s will for our lives, how can we show FAITHFULNESS to God if we’re living for the devil? The wages of sin is death, no GENTLENESS there. And obviously if we are sinning we are not displaying SELF-CONTROL. - Don’t be deceived by all these hyper grace teachers. Jesus gave you his Spirit so you could obey him. Obedience is a side effect of salvation. If you can’t obey God I would really search yourself. I can’t condemn you but God can and I don’t speak for myself, I speak for the Father. The Bible says don’t fear who can destroy your body, but fear the one who can destroy both body and soul. If you love God you will keep his commandments.
