Happy National Lighthouse Day 😊 Pigeon Point Light Station State Historic Park has special memories for me. During a marine botany course at #UCSC my lab partner & I would scour the #beach at early morning low tide for red, green, & brown #algae. While my lab partner complained about the early outings, I absolutely loved being here with the rippling waves, salty air, and sand covered feet. After collecting our samples, we would stop at the #whalecitybakery for #croissants.
