roughly a month I lived in this second-degree impoverished village (the middle level),
by the north of China.
A 1200 population.
I’ve spent most of that time just walking around and talking to people, with a notebook and a camera.
Heard some amazing stories.
Again, don’t take my photos for it.
This is but one village among many,
one of many facets of this country.
To start off with a short one.
This is the morning market that takes place everyday where villagers come to trade. The goods are brought from the county centre that’s about half an hour away. A few merchants specialise in just bring stuff into the village.
