Great exercise!! RFES (rear foot elevated squats)... I have 2 herniated discs and a lot of my adult clients and athletes deal with back pain! LISTEN you donโt have to train in PAIN!! I mean that!!! Exercise is supposed to make you feel better, not worse!! The hard part in working out is adhering this mentality of โthis is the way we always have done itโ... Yeah well we used to ride horses until cars were invented!! Yet most traditional strength programs include barbell squat, bench and barbell deadlifts!! Do they work, YES!! Do they come at a price, YES!!!! Before I get attacked on the internet as some skinny functional guy ๐, Iโve powerlifted and competed. My squat was 550, Bench over 335 and deadlifted over 500+ at 18. I was very strong BUT in my 20- 30โs have been paying the price!! So I had to LEARN TO TRAIN DIFFERENT, TRAIN SMARTER and think about LONGEVITY!!! All Iโm saying is maybe there is a smarter way to get strong, look good and FEEL good! If my it can help my pro athletes stay strong and healthy, maybe itโs good enough for you too ๐๐ค๐ฏ....
