Escapology Interview:
❖ Q. What was your dream when you decided to create Escapology?
A. It started with a dream to be a business owner, to be my own boss. Escapology and
escape rooms represent that opportunity. It is a very appealing business, and it was on my radar. Deciding to open an escape room was the moment I started to do what I wanted to do.
❖ Q. How did Marlon Lynn Architect help you turn your dreams into reality?
A. I found Marlon through looking at the location here for a possible site for the
business, and I was so lucky to meet him because he was immediately enthusiastic about the project. His enthusiasm really helped me to create this in the beginning and to keep it going.

❖ Q. What was the biggest challenge that Marlon Lynn helped you overcome?
A. Creating an efficient use of the space for the business, among many other things.
The challenge was the age of the building. Going into the construction phase of the project, he was able to see through and overcome that challenge. He made it easy. He helped us navigate through a lot of the aspects of permitting and the materials to use. His expertise really made it easier for me having him as a project manager and architect. He was the first person I went to with any questions about aspects of the design or for building the business. He was a great resource to have over the years. It has been four years since we began the project and three years since we opened the business.
