My diy chair submission.
Reposting b/c I deleted it by accident......
I tried to use materials that didn’t require power tools to work with. I ended up only using a screw driver, a pipe cutter, and some gloves to build this. Every piece was purchased at my local hardware store.
The main frame is two rectangles hinged together. The strap in tension does all the work of holding the chair and it’s rider from falling to the floor. Also, surprisingly more comfortable than it looks.
