This is a pic from my 2nd Cook job ever. I was 3 years into the Culinary Industry working at a wholesale bread bakery for a cranky old Polish man. I learned a lot from this place but like any other young cook, made lots of mistakes too... I’m def one of those, “make a mistake then learn” types haha. I was getting cocky loading the bread into the oven as a fast pace when I accidentally cracked the glass window of the oven and it shattered everywhere ruining a good 70-80 pounds worth of dough/bread.... I didn’t get fired, but I wasn’t trusted to load bread into the oven for the rest of my time there haha LIVE & LEARN! I always have to remind myself to slow down and smell the roses!
