XI 4 (XI-IV, CO 57, CubeSat-OSCAR 57) was one of the first 7 cubesats launched on June 30th 2003 by a Russian Rokot/Briz-KM rocket launch system. Cubesats have revolutionized how space experiments in low Earth orbit can be accomplished.
