I had no idea I was pregnant when we went on this camping trip last weekend. I’m sad that the universe had other plans for our little one but I’m trying to feel comfort in that it just wasn’t the right time for us. Finding out I was pregnant this week and then an hour later that it was an Ectopic pregnancy and that I needed emergency surgery to remove it since I was already bleeding internally was heart breaking. It was a lot to take in in just one day and I’m still trying to process it because until now I haven’t been able to actually cry about it because it physically hurts to do so. A best friend told me when the emotions come to allow myself to feel it and let it take over. She was right, it does help to feel it and not bottle it up and act like everything is okay like I would normally do. Time will mend my wounds and these feelings.
