What a throwback, this took me back to my childhood days when my dad would show me old Rubber-Suit Godzilla movies! You know, where there is a line scientist, pleading with the military NOT to kill Gojira?! This was quaint, sometimes creepy but through-and-through a Godzilla picture. The slow pace made seeing the King himself that much more special and the different abilities and effects this Godzilla had on his environment was really fascinating to witness. 7.3/10
