Experiencia Guatemalteca / Photo 6: "El Niño en Naranja" - Guatemala City, Guatemala - March, 2019 - One of the reasons I love travel & street photography so much is that it encourages & rewards a philosophy of exploration, of slowing down & waiting patiently, of looking directly at what life gives you & letting go of expectations, paying attention to the moments you are living instead of bemoaning the past or fixating on the future. When you travel with a camera, even just a point & shoot, & you really look around you, you often find that the world, which seems so random & chaotic at times, can also suddenly align in such a way as this, as though everything, all the creatures & all the elements were saying, Look!
