if you’re looking for a zen adventure in Pai - a visit to the White Buddha Temple will not disappoint, it will do the opposite.
it will challenge you to walk up a flight of stairs (only 353 steps to be exact), to this meditative, calming Buddha. it’s to be admired from afar and up close. and the overview of the Pai countryside is breathtaking - literally, you’ll be out of breath when you make it to the top, but it’s so worth it!
side note: as at most temples in Thailand, you’ll have to cover up! So if you’re wearing exposed tops / shorts, you’ll be required to wear a cover around your shoulders or around your waist to cover your legs. if you come unprepared, no worries, they always offer wraps to rent.
