#tbt to my mid-20s when I used to hang these fliers to spread the word about Filipino martial arts. I’d spend time every week hanging these up all over various towns within 3 to 5 miles of wherever I was holding classes at the time. This was before Instagram and Facebook ads.
For whatever reason, I never outgrew the desire to spread the art and teach. I believed then, as I believe now, that the Filipino martial arts must be taught and preserved. Every student that walked in the door was another life to impact and change.
