Working through the difficulties of breathing with asthma and Paradoxical Vocal Fold Motion has been an incredibly difficult road but has also made me gain an even deeper love, drive, passion and gratefulness for having the passionate love of singing and writing songs in my life💙Unfortunately, singing is one of the big triggers of Paradoxical Vocal Fold Motion (also known as PVFM/PVFMD) and I was told to take a break from it or cut back from singing. After a tiny break, I realized I can’t hold back on something that is a part of me and makes my heart so spectacularly happy/fulfilled and have been retraining/practicing again on how to be able to manage to literally breathe through singing. It’s been wild but has reminded me to embrace every true passion and joy in life with thankful, open arms! Do what makes you happy, push yourself to accomplish the goals that ignite your happiness! Most of all, even when it seems impossible or difficult, please don’t allow yourself to just instantly give up on something that has such purpose and love in your life🎶
