According to an in depth report via @apprlcoalition along with Higg Co & BCG efforts and research, sustainable fashion efforts were already making shifts on a global level but Covid-19 propelled it into higher gear. (See exhibit 1) This graphs indicates web traffic on apparel & fashion sector pre/post pandemic but sustainable fashion practices were already underway in the global fashion sectors. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Report indicates today’s critical actions steps to survive economic crisis includes protecting:
1) workers & employees
2) capital
3) value chain partnerships
4) channels
