What’s Your Recovery Plan?⁣

As important as it is to build a practical, sustainable exercise habit, the same is true about recovery.

Your recovery plan should take into account the same principles as your workout plan.

It should be:⁣
-something you can do consistently⁣
-effective⁣
-at least mostly enjoyable ⁣
⁣
Examples include:⁣
✔️Getting quality sleep⁣
✔️Eat enough protein and vegetables⁣
✔️Drink enough water⁣
✔️Rest your body when you need to ⁣
✔️Stretch ⁣
✔️Take a yoga class ⁣
✔️Go for a walk ⁣
⁣
So even though a weekly massage sounds nice, it might not fit your schedule or your budget. Maybe you could dedicate 10 minutes a day to foam rolling.⁣

20 minutes of meditation might seem unbearable now, but maybe you take 3 mindful deep breaths throughout the course of your day. ⁣

The key is to be consistent. Start where you can and do that. ⁣
