Bike Ride Sunday!
I never learned to ride a bike. At 32, I decided I wanted to learn how to ride well. Side bar: Triathlon by 40yo (35yo now). So I was gifted Rhonda (bike name) and I took her out three times in a year 👎🏾. First time, I feel in a rose bush that scraped my legs and arms, and it was so bad someone that I was drunk 🥴 . It’s been about 20 months since I touched a bike seat. This year, I decided I will learn to effectively ride. So my sister friend @living.loving.laura is a avid cyclist (bike racer) is always down for a ride, so it was my time to work and twerk. I need to face this bike thang and she was there to encourage me.

We did it lovelies. She took me in the neighborhood and on the road where cars actually drive. I had some moments of panic, yet I kept riding. I only fell once and I remained straight in a path for the most part. I am so proud of myself. Facing something that you feel is intimidating isn’t always easy, yet I know it’s worth it. My word for the year was COURAGE. I plan to continue to build the courage to face obstacles. I know I deserve it. What are you worth facing? Laughs and love ❤️ Your Hype Woman
