ELB 2020 in one picture!
But lets talk about what you cannot see here.
What you dont see is that I got lost in the way, in my purpose with the shop. I was still passionate about my craft but was kind of defeated. I went back to work full time and not longer had all the time to focus on the shop 100% and many times played with the idea of closing down this chapter of my life.
Then COVID-19 happened, all of the sudden seamstresses and pretty much anyone with a sewing machine was called to step in and help by making much needed fabric face masks.
And I just couldnt sit around, knowing that I had some skills that could help many and got to work. I took my left over fabric from other projects, fabric that was never used or was going to be used for bows that would take me months to even list, and then... then you all showed up.
You all have given me PURPOSE. I have worked more in two weeks for ELB than I have in the last 8 months and all thanks to you. Im able to continue to donate masks because of you and for that, I am and will be forever grateful.
I dont know what is coming after this for ELB, but for now, I feel nothing but blessed that I can use my skills to make others lives a little bit easier and happier and feel safer.
Thank you all for showing up for the small business community, you all make such a big big difference.
Much love,
B .
