Went into this without much expectations (in truth I only read the book in order to watch the movie 😅) but was pleasantly surprised 😇 This book is part of a trilogy exploring children with peculiar abilities/powers and is everything you could want from mystery and adventure with a dash of spookiness! Only 3.5 stars from me however, as the ‘monsters’ seemed a little unrealistic/childish (but may be due to the intended audience being younger?!) ⭐️⭐️⭐️
