What will you remember from when the world was briefly paused?
Will it be the fear and stresses that this deadly virus caused?
Or will you take mental snapshots of the beauties you discovered
Like the friendships that were lost through life, that we now rediscover.
Will you only think of the dread you felt whilst queuing for the shop?
Or will you appreciate this time that has allowed you to just stop?
Because for many life must battle on to help us win this war
And all we’re asked to do is to stay home and close the door.
It’s a small price to pay to keep this dreadful virus spreading further
And to help protect our NHS and all of it’s Key workers
So the least we can do during this fateful time whilst many battle on
