▪️description:
The Sponge is texturally quite light, but it has a nice chew to it. That’s good because It’s only a small sliver of sponge within the bar itself so it’s a does hold its own in texture compared to other components, so the lightness yet chewiness of the sponge prevents it from just dissolving in your mouth.
Flavourwise, it’s a disappointingly generic chocolate flavour. .
On top of the sponge theres fairly generous layer of A generic, very sweet, milk chocolate “icing” (?). It brought a nice moisture and chewiness to the bite into the bar. .
The whole ensemble is coated in a thin layer of generic milk chocolate which added very little at this stage because it’s just choc on choc in choc- very flat flavours. Then there’s puffed crispy things on top which add texture but are a bit stale. They remind me of the puffed things in muller corner yogurts. .
