Had a consultation with @jackie_our_staffy today, and all I can say is when I think I couldn’t enjoy my job more, people like them prove me wrong! 😍 I LOVE meeting all these interesting dogs, but I what I probably don’t mention as much is how rewarding it is for me to meet the people dedicated to understanding them. 👫 As I’m often faced with some of the worst of our human characteristics, it’s a huge relief and privilege for me to also deal with people with an open mind and heart. 💖 Not to mention how gratifying it is to be able to help someone so quickly with something they’ve been struggling with for years! 🙌 Jackie has a long history of taking his frustration out on the leash, which can be a terrifying experience when you’re on the other end of it. He’s a strong and powerful dog and needless to say it’s very unpleasant when you fail to snap him out of it. 😰 Today I showed them how it’s done in an instant, and it was amazing to see how fast he got it! 🤩 He’s definitely one lucky dog to have such a cool family, as are the rest of the dogs I’ve met today. It was a good one indeed! 👌
