At only three kilometers-round trip, the Makapu’u Lighthouse Trail in Waimanalo is a short, but beautiful trail. Located on the most southeastern point of Oahu, you will see stunning views of the Kaiwi Scenic Shoreline, Oahu’s southeastern coastline including Koko Head, and, of course, the historic lighthouse. Although the actual lighthouse is closed to visitors, it makes a gorgeous backdrop against the clear blue sea.
