This is a rifle of choice for The MARCOS, PARA SF, NSG and few other security forces of India.
The reason is that it has bullpup design which means that the magazine is fed up from behind the trigger assembly, which make the barrel start from behind the place of trigger and hence the weapon is way shorter and compact which ideal with special forces and para jumpers.
TAVOR uses the same 5.56 mm bullets as the home grown INSAS. This facilitates the easy logistical support.
The TAVOR is very easy to use and maintain yet being a formidable weapon. The major assemblies of weapon can be opened in just a click, cleaned and assembled quickly.
