MINDFULNESS // Worry, fear, overwhelmed, panic ... all emotions so many people are feeling in these uncertain times. This is OK and normal.  A great way to help these feelings is mindfulness, which can be done alone but even better, with your child/children. It helps shape a child’s stress management system, and naturally gives needed closeness between adult and child. 😌 Close your eyes and deep breathe several times - through your nose for 3 (as if smelling a flower), hold for 4, then out your mouth for 5 (as if blowing a candle out slowly). Now breathe normally but imagine your breath being the tide of the sea coming in and out. Think silently what you can hear, smell, see, does anywhere on your body feel noticeably hot or cold, can you feel your clothes on your skin?
